Great! Reminds me of Eden by Stanislav Lem.

Really impressive work! Love the thought of being part of a team discovering ancient off world ruins.
Unfortunately if anything is/was actually found I doubt any of us plebs would be informed :( If its not necessary for us to know and/or disrupts commerce, the concept of life/reality, not important to any agenda's, and causes civil unrest for a far too long a period, we won't know.

I really like these sorts of scenarios, it's as if there was once a great civilization in another planet gone extinct...I crave for a movie like that to be made one day. *_*
Great job!

There could be Egyptian hieroglyphics and passages from the bible written on the walls.

All this talk of a wooden door and shrunken people has kind of spoilt it for me... taken all the mystery away! :D

"Ever wonder why we've "decided" to stop sending astronauts into space?
Maybe we've been told to stay put."

Hmm. Now that's a movie pitch right there.

Ah, the "wooden door/shrunken people" was never the intent - just an unusual interpretation.
But the wall does represent a threshold - and there is something on the other side. What that might be is entirely left to the imagination of the viewer. But presumably, the explorers will soon make the attempt to pass through... :)

Very awesome painting Steve, reminds me heavily of Chris Foss, well, that is because you are genius! Seeing that my wacom pen is busted at the moment I'm going back to markers and acrylic. My last Acrylic painting was a year ago in Studio Arts was alright, my teacher really only taught me about washes, nothing about brushes, strokes and techniques - so I can see where I feel down. Now I have the chance this holiday to have fun with acrylics - well, If my mum will lets me use them.
