BLUEBONNETS! The State flower of Texas! Luv'em but they don't last long, usually between March and early June if that long if we've had good rain, they don't grow too high and they are easily choked out by taller wildflowers and weeds. But when they bust out its just beautiful to behold! Great photo!

Reminds me of spring trips to Mission San Antonio de Padua, back when Hunter Liggett was just a military reservation and not a base. The smell of the wildflowers was overpowering.
