The water drifted in soft waves all around Kaelar's fins. The campchurch waited patiently for his mistress to return. Soon, Barbula emerged from her chamber of kelp and coral approaching the sea horse. He looked at her and snorted. In the distance...the others came mounted on their hippocampi and wielding the tridents. Barbula would be sure to be gone by the time they reached the chambers. That is the last time they will deny the dominion of the Dark Queen she thought to herself...satisfied. Then reaching up onto the pommel of the sea saddle she moved up into its seat. Turning the horned hippocampus in the direction of the Citadel, she brushed Kaelar's sides with her fins and urged him away....

Campchurcha: Named from the old term "campchurch" this is a winged sea unicorn. They can fly outside of water. They have the powers of unicorns. They have fins and often fin-like wings. Some have duck or waterbird like wings, others have batlike wings. It depends on the animal.(Draconic)

Age: 200 Years old
Height: Hard to measure, but if he was a horse he would stand about 17 Hands
Color: Blue-green and teal scales
Markings: None
Discipline: Battle (warhorse), Jumping (water based), Dressage (aquatic) and swimming and a little bit of control over the elements (water), can fly outside of water with fin-wings

Personality: Loyal to his mistress and Queen, Barbula the Queen of Darkness who lives in an underground volcanic cave beneath the Tir'Rielle island. She is on very good terms with Tariel who is her daughter.

History: Story tells it that he was hatched from a pearl laid by the Tiamat and incubated for a thousand and one years beneath the belly of the Leviathan who sleeps at the bottom of the ocean. When the tiny sea-colt came from the deepest portions of the ocean, Barbula, the Queen of Darkness was waiting from him.

The campchurch is an aquatic winged unicorn with all the magical powers of unicorn, but a kindship to water vibration. This mastery of flow allows you to work water/flow/aquatic energy with ease. You can vibrate it naturally. People maybe drawn to you. Your have a powerful healing color, the teal which is a unique energy vibration but good for healing, divination and more. This particular campchurch is the mount of the Dark Goddess. Representing the ruler of the feminine ruler of the dark half of the year, she is representative for those who protect in the dark. The animal is a master of sky, water and earth, able to fly and walk on land and move over water. This is a good travel being to ask for protection and guidance through any travel medium. this being is a master of the horseback rider too, already equipped and ready to not just be ridden, but rather to be ridden into battle. This being is a warhorse of protection, good and fast travel. They can move between the realms of the living and the dead. This implies a skill at astral travel. This also means that staying grounded is important to prevent any spiritual health issues (Such as depression or fatigue). This is a being that represents putting words to emotions and expressing the inner self.This being carries horse, hippocampus, seahorse, unicorn, pegasus and winged unicorn with a touch of dragon vibrations which means this being is adept at change and may be a shapeshifter. This implies a starseed or other being how has spent lifetimes outside of a human existence. This being is good for those prone to loneliness. They represent loyalty, feminine energy and spiritual healing and grounding. This being is good to open up intuition awareness, observation and intuition awareness. This is literally the mount of the dark goddess so gives a natural talent at speaking to Dark Goddesses or goddesses in their crone or Dark (night, evening, dreams) forms. Dark goddesses are archetypes that imply a being that is good at helping rid people of psychic attachments, house cleansings and aura cleaning.

The Art of Stephanie Small is a complex blend of mythical and real. This is your personal invitation to enjoy a tour through the magical and mundane. There is something beyond fantasy here. This is a mystical land just for you. If you like something real or mundane, Stephanie creates stunning domestic and wild animals. She studies biology and has a love of the ocean and wild animals. Horses, wolves, foxes, ponies, deer, dogs, cats, panthers, lions, fish, tigers and other creatures are some of the animals she draws. She has done animal pet portraits and is available for commission by emailing stephanie@clipclopworkshop.com for more information.

Stephanie Small is an artist located in California but she has spent time all over Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism. Stephanie uses a variety of styles and mixed mediums in her artwork. She regularly uses digital mediums such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and more. She favors traditional mediums such as colored pencil, chalk, pen, ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor. She has been known to adapt fabric, recycled art, recycled purses to create art that is both useful and stylish.

 

Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. Her artwork has been published several times in books and magazines. She is best known for artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications. 

She often donates teaching, administrative assistance, research and artwork to many local non-profits. She has taught in-person and online classes on food preservation, writing, gardening, spirituality, unicorns, art and more. She has worked for (and with) the local government to initiate youth projects, senior events and business support.

Stephanie loves unicorns and the horses she grew up with. It is clear in her art. She also loves mermaids. She even has a set of mermaid fins she can swim in. Stephanie Small finds inspiration in the animals of the ocean such as whales, orcas, narwhals and dolphins. She has a veterinary assisting certificate which helps her by giving her a thorough education in anatomy and the natural world. She can also create images that recreate an emotion or event such as happy, sad, depression, love, joy, exhilaration, congratulations, birthday, holiday, Christmas, Halloween, Yule, Easter, Ostara, and whatever other holiday or celebration you can think of!
