I must thank you so, for going out and letting the world know of our stable. I cannot bear to be without you long, my love, but I know this is the way it must be. I cannot await your return with the stallion, Critical Hit pegacorna2.deviantart.com/art/… and his sire, Dungeon, and I am glad that you found two new stallions for our stables. Now, though, I must tell you of the amazing thing that happened.

As you well know, outside our vale, the storms can dash ships against rocks and there are several ships that occasionally try to reach us. If we are not told they are coming, or if they have ill intent, the ships seldom make it ashore. Only if you can find the hidden cove and hidden port can you actually come here and enter the core of the island. The veil of mist that surrounds the island often is another main factor for shipwrecks.

Anyway, We were outside when one of the Priestess unicorns came to us to say that she'd foreseen a great disaster. We tried to warn the oncoming ship, but they did not receive our calls. There was a storm that night and though on the island Abathia pegacorna2.deviantart.com/art/… can control the weather, she cannot affect the weather outside of its bounds. As we waited to see what would happen, the next morning when the storm broke, the Sky Guards left to go find out what was happening.

When they found the mare, Clarice, she was a fancy looking thing, but all washed up and bedraggled, oh, my love, you should have seen her when she arrived. It was so sad, she was torn up and hurt and it took Cassiel pegacorna2.deviantart.com/art/… hours to heal her. Anyway, me and Abathia helped her get on her feet and then

Clarice is one of the most beautiful and intelligent horses at the stable now, her natural desire to perform drawing attention. She came to us via a terrible shipwreck. Despite her intelligence, Clarice had developed a few strange fears. One is the fear of water, something expected, and probably because of the shipwreck (Fear of water, hates ships, refuses to go over water or anything. She has to be teleported by you from the island by Abathia to do any breeding off the island.) She loves to have baths and showers, but that is pretty much it. She loathes to go near the ocean, but creeks and lakes are fine. She also is very fretful about her appearance and worries about her cleanliness. She demands to be cleaned regularly, coming up, worried about her appearance and fearful that she smells bad or looks funny. Since she naturally smells like roses, this is very unusal, but I assume she was teased as a foal and this is why. I am not sure since she won't talk about it.

Anyway, she's got some interesting powers, which is why I think she was brought to this island. She can keep things in a secret other dimension just like Cassiel can. Apparently, she'd kept her decorations, some roses, what looks like a carnival outfit and more cleaning supplies and herbs than I had ever seen. She doesn't know how to use them though. Apparently, she was tended to and groomed daily where she came from. She won't talk about it, but she mentioned a daughter when she first arrived and was delirious. I suspect that she was owned by some sort of pirate breeder, you know, one of those sorts that sneaks around and forces his mares to grow pregnant from stallions without talking to their owners. She seems to be very nervous around the males and she seemed happy to see me simply because I was a woman.

The Priestesses have been talking about her coloring all day. As you know, the colors of the Goddess are Red, Black and White. As she is all these colors in a far more spectacular way than the other horses, the Priestesses think she is some sort of omen. I think she's running away from an aweful past though...

Despite this all, she is an avid performer. Though she is comfortable on stage, she cannot bear to be seen without her performers outfit. She also seems to be especially drawn to the roses on the island and luckily for her, the faeries have taken a liking to her and have been weaving them into her mane. Either way, she is still shy one on one and I hope that the other unicorns will put her at ease. She is currently in Abathia's care and we hope that she will draw this butterfly from her cocoon.

The two BL lines are not to be bred together, so exclude offspring of Ghede from breeding to Clarice! Those breeding are strictly out of the question and banned by the breed. Personality: Shy, demure, obsessed with her appearance. She's obsessive compulsive and must always stay clean. She's obsessed with everything being in order too. This means when she performs (often) it must be perfect. She'll freak out if it isn't. Aside from that though, she's very friendly. She also has a tendency to pick the wrong sort of horse, which for her means she has a lot of foals and few friends.

There is something beyond fantasy here. This is a mystical land just for you. If you like something real or mundane, Stephanie creates stunning domestic and wild animals. She studies biology and has a love of the ocean and wild animals. Horses, wolves, foxes, ponies, deer, dogs, cats, panthers, lions, fish, tigers and other creatures are some of the animals she draws. She has done animal pet portraits and is available for commission by emailing stephanie@clipclopworkshop.com for more information.  

Stephanie can be commissioned to do custom artwork including portraits of people, animals, homes or whatever your imagination can devise. Stephanie Small is an artist located in California but she has spent time all over Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism. Stephanie uses a variety of styles and mixed mediums in her artwork. She regularly uses digital mediums such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and more. She favors traditional mediums such as colored pencil, chalk, pen, ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor. She has been known to adapt fabric, recycled art, recycled purses to create art that is both useful and stylish.

 

Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. Her artwork has been published several times in books and magazines. She is best known for artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications. 

She often donates teaching, administrative assistance, research and artwork to many local non-profits. She has taught in-person and online classes on food preservation, writing, gardening, spirituality, unicorns, art and more. She has worked for (and with) the local government to initiate youth projects, senior events and business support.

Stephanie loves unicorns and the horses she grew up with. It is clear in her art. She also loves mermaids. She even has a set of mermaid fins she can swim in. Stephanie Small finds inspiration in the animals of the ocean such as whales, orcas, narwhals and dolphins.
