Sometimes, translating the mindscape into language feels like a completely different world. Putting words to something meant to be felt in silence leaves you questioning where to even begin. Silence isn't empty; it's full of answers. Silent Thicket was built on that exact thought—a minimalist journey into the heart of a foggy woodland where the world slows down, where delicate, upward-reaching strokes mimic the fragility of a quiet thought emerging from the mist. I painted it to listen to what was hidden inside that silence. For me, it was just thoughts pouring down like a cascade, trapped under the dark. But as people looked at it, they brought their own interpretations: some saw a frozen waterfall, others saw light cutting through the dense trees. When I sat down to create Silent Thicket: Reimagined, those perspectives were already heavy in my mind.
