The waiting area of the Blossomvale General Hospital was packed with medical students, all dressed in medical attire. Today was the start of the nursing student internships, and they were all abuzz with excitement of finally getting some hands on experience. Jacob Decker was busy chatting with his friend Tucker when one of the hospital administrators entered the room.
“OK, Interns! I know this is all very exciting, but I’m going to have to ask you all to calm down. My name is Dr. Sharlene Kennedy, I’ll be in charge of you today. If you need anything, just come find me, alright? Now! Everyone please line up and have your name tags ready.”
“Crap, man. I can’t find my name tag!” Jacob was patting his pockets, trying to locate his missing ID.
“Already messing up on your first day, huh pal?” Tucker chuckled. “Just go ask Doc Kennedy, maybe they got a spare.”
