Light up fuse pendants

These gold plated fuses are used in high end stereo systems.  I love the form but I wanted to add my own style to them.  I installed a tiny LED and ran the connection post through the base cap.  It is turned on by inserting that post into a small silver tone battery pack.  It clamps tightly so doesn't fall off and batteries can be replaced easily.  I formed a similar post on the top for symmetry without the battery pack.  I also added a brass ring/s to protect the glass, add hanging points and struts for an industrial/mad scientist vibe.  I love using light - glow in the dark, LEDs and tritium - in my designs.  Unfortunately most "light up" jewellery seems to be the realm of cheap, disposable, novelty and gaudy.  So I'm rectifying that and claiming light for stylish, unique pieces with that extra wow factor.
