The back cover to my manga Broken!!!

I think I'll submit this as a print...whadaya all think?

Personally, on all my critiques, I'm a bit more curious specifically about coloring, value, shading, and lighting.

Wow...great job on the background! Do you use copics and colored pencils? Your wrinkles on the comforter is amazing!:iconloveloveplz: also the great attention to detail on the bottom of the bed sheets is phenomenal! Great job!!

Sakura micron pens?? Where do you get those? Is there like a store you can go to? Also I really like your avatar! Did you make it?

No I didn't. XD This user named "The Avatar Maker" made it for me for free. :)

And you can get the pens online:

I normally get them from my local art store. :) Check an art store near you. I think Michaels has them. Check out the third website to see where they're sold. :D

^^That link leads to the store locator so you can see what stores near you sell them...course you have to put your zip code in. I've never used it, but you can try it if you feel comfortable. :)

Ah, wow. The coloring looks spectacular. Let's see where to start. I think you did a really great job with the lighting and shadow. Especially on that bed sheet. You were able to show that her legs were underneath with crisp lights and shadows, and that really accentuates the picture. The lighting through the curtain is also really lovely. You have a very strict flow of where color ends and where it should start again with a new shade. But you also have a very interesting way with coloring, you use a special texture like quality that almost feels home like. I think it's lovely.

Awwww, coffee grinder is a drawing on the floor!!! Only a cool artist could have cool dreams like that!!! (maybe)

First of all, great work on the drawing itself. Nice work with the depth you created, keeping everything from looking flat. The books, the bed, the box under the bed, the fluff of the pillow... You use space really well~ I also love how things aren't lined up perfectly... It's not flat, and it doesn't look stiff, either. For example, the books by the bed are going in various directions, haphazardly stacked on one another... Love it~

Well, for critique on coloring things... The blanket stuns me, honestly. I love the use of deep shadows and highlights. How you've placed them, where you've placed them... All of that looks fabulous. You can also see that in the sheets and pillow, too. Great work with lighting effects~ The light coming in from the window is super pretty, too~ Love the radiant looking colors~ It feels so warm... as opposed to the story that we've just read, which was all blue and black... Love the change~ It feels like her heart might have melted a little into feeling warm and fluffy again~ So... cool~

Great work with the shadows on the walls... Basically, I think this rocks!! I'm no good with markers or anything of the sort, so... that's about all I can say~

I really really reaaaalllyyy like this! I love the color and detail you put in it. I LOVE the cute quirky little pictures in there that says a lot about the character's personality. Also, fabulous job on the wrinkles and shading in the bed sheets! The way they are highlighted closer to the window is amazing!
