Well spring is here at last. Nows the time I start getting around again with my camera and using photography as the medium to record my trips and findings when Im out and about. The canal shots ive recently posted are from a place near to where I live but Ive never seen before in over 20 years at the same place. Well heres hoping I get some decent photos. 5th February 2009 Well went to bed last night to a cold but dry night, woke up this morning to a warmer but snow covered village. First time we have had a decent amount of snow in about 20 years. No schools or college so my lads had a fun filled morning building a huge snowman.During the day the snow has tended to melt away leaving a slushy mess. -------------------------------------------------------------- 6th February 2009 After a lot of the snow melting yesterday,  got up this morning to find it is blowing a blizzard and we had another 5-6 inches of snow again overnight.Again the local schools are not opening, the roads are a nightmar
