WBS Weekly Dirt Races + XC + Endurance I have graded the non-maiden flat races and steeplechase races as "Allowance" races. Allowance races are a step up from Maiden races, but are a lower tier than Stakes races. I have updated the name of this show to include the phrase "Dirt" since these races take place on our Dirt track located in our forestry/mountain range. Length Terms You Can Use:
We always provide how many lengths your horse placed by over the next horse. If you don't want to write out the odd numbers for your records, you can use these terms instead...
0.6-0.99 lengths = won by 3/4 length
0.5-0.59 lengths = won by 1/2 length
0.3-0.49 lengths = won by a neck
0.2-0.29 lengths = won by a head
0.01-0.19 lengths = won by a nose
You can also add these terms to full lengths. For example, if I wrote (won by 2.25 lengths), you could write "won by 2 lengths and a head."
