Dio is a quiet creature, he spends much of his time contemplating his situation, and frequently can be seen staring up at the stars on clear nights.
Greatly respected by the other horses living in Tincture Vale they frequently ask for his counsel and opinion and is always on hand to diffuse awkward situations with the younger horses.
His weakness is having his extremely long and straight mane and tail brushed and will happily stand for hours allowing the humans who live at the abbey pamper him. Hard-working and willing under saddle he is a favourite of nervous or new riders. He greyed out by the time he was 3 and barely remembers being anything other than 50 shades of grey - the classy kind.
