Small falcon like birds that were once on the brink of extinction but have been brought back by Hyperion's careful tending. Imprint on the first things they see when they hatch. These birds have a highly variable internal body temperature, and their colors are determined by the individual bird's temperature. Their feathers glow in the dark and are highly sought after by poachers due to various beliefs about them, from decoration, magical encancement, and medicinal use.
