Description
Flying weasel like creatures found on the floating islands of Zolkanis. About the size of a wolverine, they live in small packs headed by a mated pair. The male cares for and protects the young from predators, while the females go out hunting and patrolling the territory. Curiously same-sex couplings are common, and are known for their curious habit of adopting pretty much anything smaller than them, much like cats.

Males are known for their impressive mating displays and female for their vicious 'war dances'.
When raised in captivity they are lazy and docile.

Young Vanttor have winglets on their forelegs that assist them in gliding after their parents. Essentially natural training wheels that are shed on the first adult molt. Their tail tips are also always black, and turns a new vivid shade with the adult molt.
