Info: While AS used to have a much larger Thoroughbred/Standardbred racing operation, the new plan is much smaller. One of the new workers has 3 1/2 years of racehorse specialization behind them, as well as being raised on a training farm. AS does not want to bring other breeds, but instead plans to show off the versatility of the Fulger breed. By going through the pedigrees and using Meredith's experience we picked out 3 foals to train up, and purchased one adult mare.
Horses in training:
- Diana was chosen due to her svelte build and quick snappy attitude. She has been started on hills and hand work.
- Muse was chosen mainly based on her pedigree. Her dam Nala has a great pedigree full of hard working, quick horses with tons of stamina. Her sire Prince is a good endurance horse for his leasee. Muse is a quick young horse, very trainable with a steady temperament. She has been started on hills and hand work.
- Poseidon was chosen due to his mother. She has a lot of stamina and drive. He has been started on hills and hand work.Three year olds
- Metis was bought in a sale as a racehorse prospect. She races in Texas and California primarily but occasionally shows in other locations.People
Meredith Rachelle Green-Atwood (Home)
Female, Catholic, pale, wavy black hair, blue eyes, 5'4". She is currently between mounts but normally picks a random horse from the stable to ride.
Meredith primarily trains the younger colts and fillies at the stable, and is the trainer that races horses in locations besides Cali or Texas. She is great at building stamina and muscle with lots of hillwork and long gallops.
Mikel Holdermann (California)
Male, Jewish, olive skinned, dark curly hair, brown eyes, 6'0". He's often seen on the sidelines on his horse Mabel, who he uses to spur lazy or competitive horses to try harder.
Mikel is a trainer in California who is good at training long distance horses. Metis is primarily under his care.
Skylar Valentine (Texas)
Female, agnostic, dark skinned, blond curly afro, brown eyes, 5'6". She rides a short ornery Quarter Horse gelding named Max
Skylar is a traditional trainer who focuses on sprints and doesn't do a lot of long distance work.
Careers will be a mix of rng and dA shows
