EYES
When coloring the eyes, there are a just few rules to follow.
Eye color is not strictly dictated by parents or lineage; any Kalacros may take any color eyes!

We generally caution against overdoing the shading, lighting, and effects on your Kala's eyes - it should still be fairly easy to tell what color they are, and color pick for art.
The Kalacros' eye is split into several parts, as demonstrated below.
At the edges of the eye, there's a bit of flesh, denoted by the pink tone! It CANNOT be the same color as the rest of the eye. Otherwise, it follows the same rules as the mouth and paw pads.
You can choose whether to have a visible sclera or not, represented by the white in the second image. The sclera can either be white or black, and allows for slight tinting, but should not be the same color as either the Iris or Pupil.
The Iris is what corresponds to the Eye Color, mentioned above.

The Pupil is the darkest part of the eye, at the middle, and can be inspired by mammalian eyes! In addition, when designing a Blind Kalacros, the pupil must be notably lighter than the Iris/Eye Color.
