This is an excerpt from an interview with Lieutenant Chaden Marest, A-Wing Pilot and Amber Flight Lead with the Rebellion just prior to the Battle of Endor. He had previously flown both X-Wings and B-Wings and had been decorated twice for bravery.

It feels really strange to know that the job I’ve been doing for the past five years has suddenly come to an end. I mean it wasn’t even my primary job; more a secondary duty really, but I’d gotten used to it y’know?
Let me just explain.
My name is Kaydel Ko Connix and I’m a Lieutenant and an Ops and Intel Technician First Class with the Resistance here on D’Qar. Now, on a day to day basis, that’s just a high and mighty way of saying I patch communications and datafeeds to interested parties and analyse and route intel reports to those who need to know. I love the job, I love the people and I genuinely believe in what we’re doing here and always have, which is another way of saying that I’m happy where I am right now. But this story has nothing to do with my main job here.

Star Wars Art: The FlurryRecently I started reading through The Truce at Bakura once again and it got me thinking, I really do love the Quasar-Fire class ships. I don't know exactly why, but the design of the ship always stood out to me. Now I have seen several pieces of art depicting the ship on this site, but I've never actually seen anything depicting what to me is the saddest moment in the novel, the destruction of the ship.
If anyone would like to give that scene a go or do anything like illustrations of Captain Tessa Manchiso and her crew, I'd love to see that.
