Quantum Warp (a derivative of quantum slipstream)
This newer technology based upon quantum slipstream makes use of hyperspace rather than subspace for interstellar travel. Because of this it is sometimes referred to as hyperspace warp or hyper warp. The different laws of physics with in hyperspace domains allow for much faster velocities than subspace warp for the same amount of power usage.
Quantum Warp does not create a bubble to warp as standard warp does. Rather it tunnels into hyperspace using a special set of emitters which are part of the navigational deflector array and rides on it like a wave. However in order to control the velocity and vectors the ship continues to make use of nacelles. These nacelles are capable of standard warp as well as for use in Quantum Warp.

This scale also makes use of what some call transwarp domains.  In truth these are simply additional dimensions of subspace that have recently been discovered.  Old warp technology made use of only one domain of subspace and nine levels.  Newer technology allows for use of more domains each with nine levels.  Though called transwarp by some, this is not true transwarp.  It is in fact standard warp refined.
