1-Angst

Rodrigue's death hit Nikolo harder than he wanted to let on. His childhood puppy-dog crush on the Duke was a shameful secret he'd kept... displaying anything more than an average amount of grief would be inappropriate. Felix had lost a father... Dimitri lost a father-figure and watched the man die in his arms... They were the only ones who could cry as much as Nikolo wanted to, but neither did.
Alone, though, Nikolo let himself have a single moment to mourn. Silently.

I want to do a prompt-a-day October thing but none of the lists I've seen are speaking to me. So, I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants here! Probably gonna be mostly just sketches.
