HEY. YOU. PERSON WHO HASN’T READ FALLOUT EQUESTRIA.

Do you want to? Afraid to because you’ve never played Fallout? Well good news! I just released a comprehensive annotated reference guide for Fallout Equestria, and it can be read right here!

ALSO, OBVIOUSLY, SPOILERS FOR FOE.

It’s Littlepip! Everyone knows Littlepip, right? The main protagonist of Fallout Equestria, one who’s never described besides being a unicorn of small stature who wears her PipBuck on her right hoof, yet somehow everyone settled on nearly the same design!

Ok, this is an interesting drawing. The thing is. Everyone and their mother has drawn Littlepip, if they’ve drawn anything FOE related. I didn’t even make my design for her particularly unique. Mine is pretty obviously one of the Standard Littlepip designs. So why draw it?

Well. Actually really it’s for a project that may take years to complete. I don’t actually intend for it to take years, but knowing my production schedule, it almost certainly will. But anyway, necessity for that project was having a thorough reference for my personal Littlepip (said to the tune of “Personal Jesus”).

And I found something very interesting! This leaked DHX media asset; a full turnaround of Twilight Sparkle from the first three seasons! From every (useful) angle! Suddenly, I knew what I could do! Use it as a base to do a full model for Littlepip! That’s what would be different for mine!

So I did! For all of her main outfits! Leaving out scars because it would be a complete pain in the ass to go back through the text and find every time she scarred and where. But otherwise! I have her complete model, besides one-offs like the nice dress Velvet got her, which wasn’t necessary for the project.

And so, now for the design details: first off. My design for Littlepip. Originally, I wanted her to have defined eyebrows, like my design for Applesnack. However, the eyebrows didn’t fit easily into the other elements I wanted her design to have. So off they went.

Second; her mane. I’m certainly not the first to have Littlepip have a mane intentionally reminiscent of Applejack’s, I believe I first consciously noticed it on this drawing by @Kitana762, but I tried to make my version unique, by making every part of her mane and tail based on Applejack’s forelock (front mane). Her crest (back mane) and tail both are based on Applejack’s forelock, just warped to fit better.

I am aware the length of her mane varies from angle to angle. This is just kinda how it came out, I warped the mane to look good from every angle; the show certainly does similar things.

Her mane and tail colors come from Applesnack’s eyes, because I wanted to keep that conection between the two, while the color of her body I believe is borrowed from @StarlessNight22’s depictions of her.

Her eyes are the color of Applejack’s eyes, hueshifted to match Fallout 4’s standard PipBoy interface colors.

Her PipBuck and cutie mark’s screen colors are from the standard PipBoy interface colors of Fallout 3.

The regular Stable suit borrows its colors from the late great @Vector-Brony, long may they be remembered (no, they didn’t die, or at least, I don’t think they did, I am just joking).

The design being a full jumpsuit rather than just a shirt was mainly inspired by @php104’s depiction of Littlepip, though not exclusive to their design. I based it somewhat off the jumpsuit the alternate universe Rarity seen in “The Cutie Remark” wore, colloquially known as “Rarity the riveter”. It was a surprisingly large pain in the ass to draw, as the only reference I had for the outfit was one angle in Facebook promotional art.

I am aware that the outfits on the area of her PipBuck are awkward; the usual Vault suit appears to be symmetrical on the model, but I can never remember if it’s specified whether a PipBoy is worn over clothes or not; the biometric seals it employs implies that it doesn’t. So if I’m wrong, oh well. This took way too fucking long to correct if that’s the case.

Her armored Stable suit is obviously based on the Armored Vault 101 Jumpsuit from Fallout 3; I am aware that there were a few pieces of armor that are on the in-game suit that she doesn’t have. I really couldn’t figure out how to work with the conversion to equine anatomy, and if I had to figure out the angles to a holster for Little Macintosh, I was going to shoot myself. So the armor is even more haphazard and sporadic than in-game.

The Canterlot Police Barding takes its colors from the Sierra Madre Armor it’s based on, as well as the design of the military uniform seen in “The Cutie Remark”, worn by Rainbow Dash, Blaze, Soarin, Pinkie Pie and Maud Pie. This actually made my job significantly easier; at various points, we got to see the profile, the 3/4ths angle from both front and back, and for brief few frames, the front facing angle. So I could easily reconstruct it from there. Thus, any inaccuracies or oddities of the barding is down to the original show’s error that I faithfully recreated.

This was a monumental effort I’ve been chipping away at for about two months, and I’m happy to publish it! I have, I believe, a few more FOE drawings in the works, so I apologize if you don’t care about that, but in the good news, I have a Miracleverse bad end character that I’m working on next.

Incredible! I never could figure out what the Barding was supposed to look like on Pip!
