There's really no denying of all the original crew behind Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends... it was the big dog David Mitton himself who was most beloved. His dedication & genius mind of a director is something worth respecting. A true wizard behind the camera, he knew so many tricks to make the models of our favourite characters & sets and the world around them feel so real, and it's because of him the original series was a runaway success, and why us fans still love it to this very day. Of course though, with success came money, and with money came the chance to make something new, that something new was Thomas' Sister Show, a little something we all know as... Tugs!. And that of course we all know the sad story of.
