Alright, so I was getting some questions about the construction of this mask... and I know this is really lame and not very well explained, but I've been really busy and this was the best I could do at the moment... Hopefully you can use it and it's helpful.
And again, if you DO use it.. then I'd love to see how your costume turns out! Link me to the pictures or something!
(Also.. just because I didn't make it clear in the picture.. the spray adhesive went in between the fabric and the foam.. )

Ah last minute question, what can I do to make more breathing room? I'm doing the last second of his facial expression 38.media.tumblr.com/de66ee4bb3…
I decided to cut out the shape of lemongrab's head in addition to side strips by the jaw. I used the strips to glue to the other non-strip-lemongrab head which provided me space to breathe.
I found that the spray adhesive I purchased to bind the fabric and foam together was not long lasting (also bubbled) . Either I did not put an event amount or the bonding agent needed to be stronger. I'm a beginner when it comes to cosplay. Also I was not able to make a sleeve with my cotton fabric so sticking the edges of the fabric down was a little complicated. The glues I've used were gorilla glue, rubber cement and the spray adhesive. They were all good with fabric and foam but I think I should specifically buy fabric glue next time.
Overall if I planned this better the cosplay could have came out better. Thank you for putting your tutorial out there

Your costume is brilliant! The expression turned out so well! XD I'm glad you were able to improve upon the design by adding additional breathing holes.
I must confess that the spray adhesive on mine has not lasted over the years.. It was ok for the first, but it did not stand up well to wear and time, so the fabric is a bit wrinkled. :\

I got it at a store called JoAnn. I think this was the product I bought: www.joann.com/heavy-duty-foam-…

thank you so much for this tutorial, it made my life 1234567890% easier!
valiantparadox.tumblr.com/post… the only changes i made were I used a much stiffer foam and a wire circle to help it keep its shape (and not smother me)

i just made a circle of wire (wrapping the ends around one another) slightly larger than the circumference of my head, and just shoved it up into the lemonhead so that when you put the mask on the wire sits around forehead level. I secured it with hotglue and i think some masking tape and it still works after 7 months. I'm bad at explaining things so if you need me to elaborate more just ask!
