Atlantis Labyrinth Nebula by Starkiteckt Atlantis Labyrinth Nebula by Starkiteckt
Something inspired by the Stargate Atlantis tv show. I miss that franchise so much...

I cannot remotely express my words, especially given this resolution.

In 15, 20 maybe even 25 years time people will still be using this wallpaper....

Haha its fun as hell having that much resolution. Had to split up this project into multiple files... combined size: 54 GB. I really can't wait till 128GB+ amounts of RAM becomes affordable-- I could create stuff in much high resolution for large banners/posters. My ultimate dream is to have an entire wall in my apartment (or two!) covered in a poster that is backlit. Next most immersive thing to having a projector running 24/7 :D.

I'm going to make a tutorial on how to construct and set up projects like this. It'll cost about 10$, its going to be a very in depth study on lighting, painting, and pretty much everything I know so far. I'll have some sample pages so you get to preview the content before buying.

Awesome! I love the poster idea! You use 128 GB of RAM????? Holy crap!

While I don't use or even have Photoshop, the tutorial still sounds like a cool idea! Some of the things could probably be applied to GIMP or Corel.
Cant wait to see what it looks like! :)

No, just 32GB at the moment =(. I'm on the Z77 chipset with an Ivy Bridge i5. I can't wait to upgrade to 128... photoshop would run like butter then!

Lol! Holy crap man! I have 32 now and used to have 16 and could run games like Skyrim with no lag whatsoever! I can't believe someone would actually need 128! wtf

Oh yeah... it would be eaten up very quickly. At high resolutions Photoshop maxes out and starts using swap almost immediately. Add a few dozen layers to that... :D
