In short, the story is about a bat-eared fox named Layla who accidentally gets lost in what her village calls "the mangrove"- although not all of it is a mangrove. This forest attracts gold, adventure, and glory-seekers from all around, hoping to snatch the Artifact of Time from within it's tangled depths. However, the woods do not appreciate their presence and travelers become lost swiftly. It's up to the woods' residents and the person lost themselves to make it out alive.
