Intelligently Wild

Had to work on this straight for 20 minutes but I finished my final foal pic in time for the season rollover. So here is the final member of the crop, Lunar Gold.



Okay maybe crossing Lulu with Challenger’s Gold wasn’t the best idea she ever had, Jasmine later admitted. Because when you cross an intelligent sire with a mare who has a tendency to produce wild foals you get well you get Luna.

For the first time in her foals Lulu foaled a foal that actually wasn’t grey, to say the least Jasmine was beyond delighted. While her coat isn’t as varying as her sire she is still a very good looking foal. Her personality is a cross between her mother and father’s she has her father’s intelligence and her mother’s wildness. While she isn’t nearly as wild as her older half-brother Bullet we are thinking that maybe acquiring a companion for Luna when she gets a bit older wouldn’t help either.

The main problem about this is the fact that Luna figured out at a rather young age that if you can keep away from your handler you don’t have to go inside yet. To say the least she loves to spend time inside, so for the first two months of her life bringing her inside was a problem. But after we started bribing her with treats getting a halter back on her became a lot easier.
