Info: Decus is a tame coyote, he was (and still is) a leader of a small pack of coyotes and has his own mate and pups. After a hunting session with his pack he stumbled upon Logan's house and saw the orphan crying on the porch, which he went to investigate. As the two met Logan was a bit scared, but Decus saw that Logan was crying and felt compassion for the boy. He went back to his pack to tell them that he was going to take off for a while and lived with Logan as a "pet". Decus can talk due to anexperiment Logan did using his special powers and constructed a working mechanism that enables dog's to communicate like a human.
