Very moody and evocative piece! My compliments indeed!

Compliments graciously accepted :)  Thanks so very much.....it really helps to have exceptional stock.  That church is from a DA friend in Wales.  I saw the church first and everything else fell into place :)

Oh wow! The quality here is really good! I really like the cat you chose for this piece because it doesn't look posed. It makes the story more interesting because you wonder what has gotten the cat's attention. When I look at this, I can't think of a single thing to criticise. Beautiful work!

Thanks Nadja :)  I was so very fortunate that a wonderful couple from Wales offered me their stock to use, and they have provided some pretty interesting pieces such as this church.  There were several poses with this kitty and the pumpkin, all so cute and interesting, but I loved this one because I could see a tiny smile on every viewer of this piece because of the curious look on this cutie :)  I love to include animals in my work...they add life and love.  Having 5 dogs and 3 horses, one could say my life is VERY busy :)

Thanks for the day brightener Hug

Feed off that dark side! it can be very helpful.

It sure does help with my creativity.  Did you see the newest one yet......"Don't Forget Me"?  Now there are some dark thoughts  LOL

Not too dark but boarding on the creepy scale for sure.
Keep it up hun!

My "Dark Shadows" alter ego emerges on occasion :)  I think that show awakened this dark side and it just grew over the past few decades  LOL

Every artist has an alter ego. Just need to learn how to bring it out to make amazing pieces! lol

Yes....you're right.  To escape from the glaring Arizona sunlight into the darkness does bring about my alter ego :)

Thanks ever so much Heart  Having wonderful stock to work with helps :)

You're welcome! Having the right stock makes all of the difference. Sometimes I will spend almost as much time choosing what stock to work with as I do creating the manipulation.

Ohhhhhhhhh I agree!!  Sometimes even MORE time  LOL  I was very lucky that a couple from Wales offered me use of their very restricted stock.....one being the church in that scene.  They just went out last weekend shooting autumn pic.....and I can hardly wait to see what goodies they have for me to play with!! :)
