It's 'Way Back Wednesday' and we're setting the time circuits for Howard's birthday, September 2015.
Well, for the classic Trek fan we continue our series we started a couple of years ago with the next episode, Harcourt Fenton Mudd, loveable scoundrel and rogue from 'Mudd's Women'.
Done with wax pencils and built up in layers, utilising my usual pressure application and layering techniques, I used a grey scale palette of 11 colours. As usual, the grey scale work makes portraits so much easier for me.
Harry's skin and hair were done with white, Payne's grey, black, cold grey 2, cold grey 6, warm grey 1, warm grey 4 and warm grey 5.
The earring was done with black, cold grey 6, warm grey 1, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
His hat was done with white, Payne's grey, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
Harry's clothes were done with white, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, warm grey 3, warm grey 4 and warm grey 6.
The transporter room wall background was done with white, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
Completion time: 64 hours, 12 minutes

Yay, Roger C. Carmel! A character actor who I feel needs more love.
