[Earth Day 2024]

It's Earth Day !! (April 22, 2024)

[This time, I went ahead and drew Earth in an alternate outfit because she is cool]

I've already previously written a little bit about Earth Day before [Earth Day 2023]
so you can check that if you'd like, but here's some more information:

When did Earth Day start? It was first held on April 22, 1970.
Furthermore, Earth Day is an event held to mainly bring awareness to environmental protection. The effects of human intervention on Earth has lead to pollution, global warming, climate change, habitat loss, etc; don't be too pessimistic about the future, because there have been things done to improve the environment! For example, habitat conservation, the usage of renewable energy, and efforts to cut industrial emissions have been made. In other words, people care about the Earth and its environment !!!

Also, I think it's important to think and consider how significant the Earth truly is. Of course, many bring up the possibilities of colonizing and terraforming other planets, mostly Mars and Venus, but as of today, Earth is really the only celestial object known to harbor life.
