[SB] [OSaS] Livyatan #1 - Collab

“That doesn’t look great,” Vidael commented, flicking a talon at the water in front of him.

Said water was a deep, deep blue, so deep it looked black. It also had suspicious bubbles floating up from somewhere below, and an eerie purple glow coming from it. He was currently standing in front of a large underground lake, the sort that one assumed could only be found in myths. The water itself was bone-chilling, as he had found out by stepping in it by accident, and the only illumination inside was the silvery moonlight shining through a natural skylight. The wind outside of the cavern barely reached the dry insides, however it was just enough to whistle a long, sustained note that echoed in the empty space. All in all, it was an unsettlingly fitting place for him to find the giant, corrupted Rayfin, Livyatan.

“Um,” Vidael said elegantly, turning towards his companions. “Anyone got any ideas on what to do with him?”

“Beat em.” Scrala was sitting at the edge of the group, looking bored over the faces in Front of her. She lifted a lip, looking disgusted at the others. “This Fucker  is huge. These fishes can only be beat up, or you plan on gifting them flowers or something?” She shook her fur, stood up and walked over to the waters edge. Casting a quick look at the sky her eyes narrowed. “Doesn't look like any storms are coming either. Maybe we can drag them up. Im sure the big boy will struggle on Land.” Her tail waved in slight excitement over seeing a rayfin flopping around on Land like a fish. She giggled slightly to herself.

Fenrir let out a slight rumbling. “You got no brain.” She muttered, wifting her tail in Agitation. “You think that will be easy? We have to go into their Element where they have advantage.” Fenrir shook her head, and with a slight beat of her wings She slid over to the water’s edge as well. “But I guess we gotta try.” Amusement Was not something one could spot on her face. Scrala though did not look happy about fenrirs comment either.

“You call me STUPID???” she hissed, flashing her teeth at the dark ravanger. “GUESS when im this stupid~ OPS” With a totally accidental movement of her tail, she lashed fenrir forward into the water. With a loud splashing Sound the big ravanger crashed into the water and sunk down. Satisfied, scrala grinned at the Spot in which fenrir has vanished. Then she looked over to Vidael. “You got something to say? Wanna call me stupid too?”

Vidael only blinked. “Nope,” he commented wisely, looking back and forth between the white Sapeire whose wings were now flared in anger, and the thoroughly drenched Fenrir still flailing in the water. “I don’t care what you two decide, but I really do not want to go anywhere near that water.”

Invictus, who had been sitting on the edge of the lake all this time and thoroughly ignoring the antics of the other three, now released a long-suffering sigh and slowly walked back to them, long claws tapping on stone.

“Do I really need to break you up?” He sighed again, placing himself as a barrier between the hissing Sapiere and Fenrir. “Look Scrala, I think your idea of getting him out of the water was a good one,” he started to reassure her, pausing to hold a talon up at the indignant and sputtering Fenrir. “But, I have a feeling that Fenrir might be right on this one. We’d probably need to lure him out instead-”

Invictus’s attempt at calming the two dragons down all but failed as the purple glow beneath the water suddenly pulsed, and a giant fin shot out, aimed straight for poor Fenrir’s head.

Scralas' eyes looked rather pleased as Vidael didn't seem to dare to challenge her. She saw it as them acknowledging she was the stronger one. But there was another dragon who saw the need to Interrupt her triumph. Her eyes narrowed at the other who dared to stand between her and fenrir. She was about to speak but was Shot short as the loud slapping Sound of the fin Hit the water. Fenrirs body vanished under the water.

The dark Ravanger did not see the fin coming as she was fighting to get OUT. oh and when she got out she would BEAT THEIR ASS. but Nope. Instead she felt a heavy hit on her head and suddenly the surface was gone. She let out and angry roar but the water was consuming most of the sound and only bubbles escaped her. Now with her head under the water, she saw them clearly. The dark rayfin with their glowing parts. It snarled angrily, and worse. It was swimming directly towards fenrir, with its mouth wide open. No time to be angry!!! Fenrir had to get da fuck OUT.

Her body started shifting and promptly she was no longer a dragon- but a big fish with big fins. Speed Was needed now! She flapped her fins as strongly as she could, racing towards the surface again, Shooting out of it With the rayfin just inches behind her. As soon as she was out of the water she shifted her form again to become a dragon again. Just bigger than her usual self. She tried to grab the Rayfin to readjust their jump. Trying to get them to jump out of the water and Hit the Land.

Scrala saw fenrir shooting out of the water, followed by the rayfin who now was very close to being on Land.

“I planned that.’

Vidael couldn’t hide his snort as he saw the dark Ravager- who was apparently a shapeshifter, huh, that’s actually really useful for the battle ahead- leaping out of the water, holding Livyatan’s head akin to how an osprey would hold its fish. Only the fish was still quite a lot bigger than the osprey, and angrily baring its jaws at the dragon holding it with ominous purple glowing from inside.

Whoops, the metaphor ran away from him. Maybe he’ll just actually get to the battling part.

So Vidael leaped at the corrupted Rayfin claws first, while behind him, as if sensing his inner monologue, Invictus only sighed and face-taloned.
