Nancy Drew, P.I. serves as the direct sequel and official spin-off to Nancy Drew, Junior P.I.. Positioning itself as a modern adaptation of The Nancy Drew Case Files, the series follows 19-year-old Nancy Drew and her investigative team as they transition from amateur collegiate sleuths into fully licensed professional private detectives operating in the heart of New York City.
Nancy hones her craft as lead detective together in this series. She still does interviews, effectively with witnesses, victim’s families, and stakeholders. Rather than rehash the amateur detective idealistics it's necessary to upgrade Nancy with newer skills to go with the skills she already has. Add a stronger set of realistic stories RIPPED from the headlines and modernize stories from the original book series.
