2. "Never bite the hand that feeds you"
The first and arguably the most important rule a feline needs to learn about the city. Humans might not be faster, stronger, or able to win in a one on one fight, but they are the rulers of the city. And a feline who poses a threat to them has no place within their walls. It's time for your feline to learn that rule. You can choose whether it be the "hard way" (beating, excessive force) or the "easy way" (pets, cuddles, love, affection, TREATS!) but ultimately, they must learn this rule.

He had never been tamed.
Not even over his years living in the city before joining Fire. Even then his owner would keep him as wild and feral as it was possible, keep the beast inside the furious male alive and fed.
Spartan
The name given to him in the colisseum, after fearsome slaver warriors from a farway land, as the orange caracal fought like a feral beast in the arena.
The feline had enjoyed the fighting and bloodshed in the colisseum.
And now, his time in the wild had just made him wilder than he was before.
So when they came to try and make him tame and obey like a housekitty, he fought back.
He wasn't going to be a lap-cat.

But on the other hand, he knew, if he wanted to be able to see his family, he had to act tame enough to be let wandering on the streets, not closed into the cellar of the arena with other ferals.
And for that, he swallowed some of his pride.
