Twas the night before christmas and all was quiet in Maha's gingerbread house. The children were sleeping, dreaming sugar covered berries. Maha sighed. He hoped he wouldn't be alone this christmas. He stirred his cauldron and finished wrapping the presents. He used magic to carry the presents and put them under the tree.
Ciel bought in gingerbread house and beautifully painted. "I finished, Master. Just as you asked."
"Thank Ciel, you may go enjoy your christmas." Maha said sadly.
Ciel bowed his head. "Thank you. Are you going to be okay? Would you like me to stay? We could have hot chocolate." He suggested.
Maha smiled. "No no. Please go to bed. Enjoy your night off. I'll see you after the new year."
The one paca he wanted wasn't here. He made a wish and hope it would come true. The wind blew and Maha looked up. He took off from the kitchen. Something was calling him. He beckoned forward and opened the front door of his new gingerbread house. There was a rush of wind but no one was there. The snow fell quietly, it was so cold. His breath could be seen. He shut the door. Standing behind him was his husband, Faelar.
Faelar smirked at him. "Hello. Wish granted."
Maha turned around and smiled, hugging onto Faelar. Faelar picked him up and cuddled him close. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." He said back.
They cuddled upstairs all night long. They missed each other so much.
As the morning came, Maha rolled on a core. "Uh oh".
There was a flash and small paca appeared. "Oh no." Faelar rolled over and looked at tiny paca who stared right at him. With one eye, he happily exclaimed as he cuddled his parents.
"You know the children aren't going to be happy with a new sibling. We told them Jasi would be the last one."
Faelar rubbed his head. "Oof." He said softly. "Merry Christmas?"
The little paca nuzzled them both. Oh man. They just had a new paca baby and had no idea how they were going to tell their kids who was going to be furious. Some might be excited. More blood. More trouble. But they could blame on the new baby. How fun.
As Christmas morning came, all of their children were up and down stairs. Maha and Faelar came downstairs holding their new paca baby. "Happy Christmas!" Everyone looked at them groaned.
Wack rolled his eyes. "Another one. I thought you said this Jasi was the last one."
Jasi glared at Wack for mentioning his name. "Fathers, you said I was the last one."
Maha tilted his hat down. "It wasn't our intention to create new little one."
Ruka sighed. "You said that about Jasi."
Miel rubbed his ear. "They said that after me."
The gingerbread house grew a tad bit bigger to accommodate all of the pacas.
Crescendo looked at all his siblings as he was sat down. He looked up at Christmas tree, eye glittering.
Maka handed him present which he quickly tore open. Inside was an ornament that looked just like him. Maka picked him up and helped him placed in on the tree.
As they all opened their gifts, Maha sat on Faelar's back. Both were content as they watched their children play with their new toys.
Izar was happy with her new baa and berry juicer. Dara was happy with her wand. Jasi was happy with his sitting pillow. Wack was happy with his new knife and scared Maka with it. Maka was happy with his new chalkboard which he held up with the word 'halp'. Crescendo was just happy crawled over Maha who picked him up. "Merry christmas" he said happily.
