I support indigenous people

Colonialism is really good at completely screwing over the people of the areas that are colonized, and often rich cultural histories are lost, and the lives of many of the indigenous people are lost in the process.

Places like North Eastern Brazil still suffer the effects of colonialism as their culture adapts to increased poverty and pollution, and in the US where Native Americans are practically written out of history or seen as savages, alcoholics and casino owners instead of people with a rich cultural history on the land.
