Description
DAAAHHHH!!! It's the German rabbid from Rayman. Inspired from here: [link]
I started to work on this plushie the last December and didn't finished, until now.
With some sheets of paper, a pencil, an eraser and a lot of coca-cola I designed the patterns. Then I did a prototype, with it, I corrected and improved the patterns to fix any problem regarding proportions and to make the pieces fit appropriatly. Once corrected, I cut the pieces on felt and sewed them by hand.
The hair is made with strips of yarn, and it was placed strip by strip.
The next thing to do was the dress, It's not exactly like in the video, I wanted to make it a little prettier. Like a tailor, I took the rabbid's measurements to make it.
The final thing was the mouth, I embroidered it by hand and pasted it with silicone.
Despite the oversized eyes, I'm really proud of this work, both for it's complexity and time of elaboration (which I think it was a month). Mi dad says it's pretty and scary, my mom says it's creepy and cute, and my niece loves it.
Oops... Please excuse the rabbid in the last picture, she was a little drunk.
Raving Rabbids from Rayman belongs to Ubisoft.
