Here's some stuff people should see:

Rittenhouse has the new Fantastic Four Archives info up on their site. Take a peek if you've got the time: Fantastic Four Archives Set Artist List!

Started up my Sketchblog and if you have a Blog or just want to check it out you can find it here:
ZOMBIES LOVE COMICS.
There will be exclusive stuff on it that you won't see on DA.

I never realized how much stuff I had in the Scraps section. Check it out:

EDIT the EDIT: Alright everyone, got the responses and filled up 21 spots for sketches. Like I stated before these are just for fun and they'll be quick and messy but thanks to all of you for throwing out some great ideas. Hopefully I can do them justice but you'll have to wait until I get back to see!

EDIT: Damn, this journal has only been up a few minutes and I've already got more than ten requests. I'll let it go a bit more and see what else pops up before pulling the plug on it and we'll see how many of the sketches I can get to while I'm away.

Just got word from Diana aka :iconmechangel2002: that I've missed alot here on DA in my time away. She's got a SKETCH RAFFLE going on that's in it's final days. It's to benefit her and :iconwillcaligan: so if you have a moment stop on by and check it out and if you can help please do. Here's the link: Pixeltease + Sketch Raffle (LAST DAYS!)

She also informed me that :iconpixeltease: was in pretty bad shape and hospitalized. Let's all keep her in our hearts and prayers and hope for a speedy and complete recovery.

I didn't realize how out of the loop I was on here. Sorry folks.

Hey everyone! Happy New Year, hope you all are doing aces!

Just wanted to change up the old journal here and spot something new up.

Doing okay healthwise-seems like everyone caught something or other or had problems at year's end. My deepest and most sincere thoughts go out to everyone that may be having any difficulties with their health or life in general. Times can be tough but I hope that everyone is safe and sound and soon.

I'm going out of town for a few days and I'm lugging my trusty old sketchbook with me as usual. I was just going to doodle the obvious stuff in it but my pal geezone got me thinking about what characters I've drawn versus those I haven't. Looking at my DA gallery I do tend to favor some characters more than others due to my own preference.

So here's the thing, I'm going to open up ten slots for suggestions on characters that you guys can pick for me to draw that I haven't drawn or drawn enough of before.

One slot per request and these'll be mainly quick sketches and nothing fancy as I want to do them fast.

I leave in a few hours so I'll just check back here until I leave and just draw whatever I have filled up from you all.

As for the characters, please no original characters just for the simple fact that I'd probably need to get ref for them and I can't lug around a big pile of reference with me so let's just choose stuff that I'd know pretty much off the top of my head. Film and cartoon characters are fine and of course any comic book characters are fair game as long as it isn't some guy in the background of a big splash panel from Fantastic Four number twelve or such.

Hopefully you can help me out and pick some really fun stuff to sketch.

When I get back home I'll load the sketches up here on DA for all to see.

Take care and stay frosty!

Please look at this video and watch a master in action! Pay close attention to the amount of erasing he does-we should all strive to have that amount of confidence in our work.

Tim Vigil rocks Conan!

Done with that one? Good. Now check out the man's amazing brushwork!

Still want more? Groovy, you're like me then and you love to watch the masters work! Here's more vids that are must see if you even remotely love comics and the people who create them!

Here's Marc Silvestri at a show telling it like it is! These are only some of my faves from YouTube, there's plenty more to be found and enjoyed and you might even learn a thing or two!

The great part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasently surprised.
