Pkmn - Flying over the Rainbow

My little contribution for Pokemon's 20th anniversary!  I knew I had to draw something with how much and I love Pokemon!  At first, I was going to draw the original three starters (Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur), but I had trouble thinking of a good pose.  So I thought back to the Pokemon anime, which we watched through Kanto, the Orange Islands, part of Johto, and part of Best Wishes.  There were so many good memories from the anime, but I have very fond memories of the very first episode of Pokemon, with Ash facing off with the Spearow, Pikachu's storm-enhanced Thunder attack, and that magical moment when Ho-Oh flies over the rainbow.  As you can see, I picked Ho-Oh!  I combined both the shiny gold appearance in the first episode with Ho-Oh's official coloring.  I'm a bit late for the official 20th anniversary, but I didn't want to rush this.  =3

I watched both the first episode and the Pokemopolis episode (with the awesome giant Jigglypuff!!!) for the 20th anniversary!
