I've finally finished Haytham's Cape!
Pictures will be uploaded tomorrow, with a decent camera as promised, when the light is more favourable. (it's 10pm here).
I don't think I want to do that again anytime soon, but I have a new cosplay project on the go to keep me busy. Expect pictures in the future.
So it turns out splitting this image is complicated!
Naturally, the pattern is too big for the hoop (nothing ever runs perfectly does it?). I knew this from the start but splitting the actual image is complicated.
Where to break it? How many extra stitches will happen? Can I line it back up?
I'm going to have to do a few test runs and see how the pattern falls together on the velvet. I made a smart choice of going with gold coloured but not metallic thread as metallic thread can be a pain to work with and shreds very easily.
I'm hoping to have some pictures of some of the pattern on the velvet at least by the end of next week.
You're welcome, I loved the colour palette you chose and the movement in the drawing. ^_^ I'll certainly give your gallery a look through and I look forward to seeing more art from you. Have a lovely day! ^_^
