Icy Night Dragon

this was the first dragon that I made, and still one of my favorites.

it took me ages to get the posing right, from the carefully arranged paws, to the small wings, to the overall curvature of the body. one of things that I always get hung up on in drawing and sculpting is making the pose look natural and relaxed, and I personally think I managed to achieve that in this piece. :happytears:

unfortunately my sucky camera skills wont let you see the true color of the icy blue, and how it so delicately outlines each limb. nor can you see the deep blue of the horns, tail tip, or the way the night sky seems to shine under the wings.
