NOOO that thing was stupid and cluttered the message board. I'm glad its gone. We can still use emotes. And it only worked if you selected a mood, it didn't count the emoticons used within a comment, that might have been useful.

Check my other replies on the comments here, to get my point

To be honest: I never liked the mood box. Only a small percentage of deviants i know used the mood emoticons. And too many deviants believed that it was the overall mood of deviants who commented on the piece, which isn't true, since more deviants didn't use the moods.  I also never used the mood box, I never understood why deviants used them, they could have expressed themself by using words or the legend emoticons, now they can also use the community Emoticons.

And tons of random gifs won't help to get it back. =P

Could you explain to me why the mood box was so important to you?

And this might be interesting for you: damn-emotes.deviantart.com/fav… (there you can find the mood emotes)

Well I personally don't use lots of emoticons so I wouldn't need that emoticons list, but the reason I find the modo bar very useful is because when reading comments under an article, deviation or anything, the mood bar would simply gives you an idea of how the community have responded to the article/deviation without having to read every comment to discover the overall reaction behind of the community!

I wouldn't remove this feature, I'd probably encourage people to use it instead. :)

But what if only the deviants who didn't agreed with the article use the mood box, you would get the impression that nobody was happy about it.

I don't think that more deviants would use it then. :\

How would that happen? also if you click on a mood you would get the comments filtered, how awesome is that?
