Cowabunga and groovily met, folks!
My nickname is Spyglass because I'm a gigantic space nerd, though most folks tend to shorten that to Spy. Either is fine. I'm an astrobiology major and a fanatical worldbuilding geek. I’ve been properly worldbuilding since around 2010 (and creating stories since before I even figured out how language works.) I make a scripted podcast called Starhopper Radio that is currently available on select podcatchers, though it’s been put on hiatus for now.
I can't say I'm terribly active, but I try.

Thanks very much!! Funny enough, the entire reason why humanity was able to spread through the solar system and beyond in Astra Planeta is because they shed their militaristic worldviews and actually, properly cooperated on the international level. "War" is a word found only in history books here.
Thank you! I really should add some labels, shouldn't I? I'll see about trying a new labeled format when I finish the Uranus flag redesign.
Thanks so much!! I have not written a book yet, heheh. My plan has always been to create an anthology of short stories set at various places and times in the Astra Planeta universe rather than a full novel, but progress on that has been slow going since I want to build up the setting itself before publishing much. However, you can read the few short stories that I have published on WorldAnvil! The best of these is Alone Together, which can also be found here on DeviantArt and recently won an award!
Think of Vulcan like a turbo-Venus. It's 8 times the mass, has more than four times the atmospheric pressure, and its surface is more than twice as hot. It's also tidally locked to Toliman, which means its solar hemisphere is covered by an enormous cyclone.
Don't plan to go there on vacation.
