I'll leave it up to the viewer to decide whether this a literal portrait of Orual or a comment on C.S. Lewis's classic retelling of the Cupid and Psyche myth--or both. :)

A veil can make anything beautiful, through sheer imagination of what lies beneath. Really, I don't think that Orual was that ugly. I bet you she was just average. xD
Still, this is AMAZING. <3

Amazing! I am currently reading this book for the second time, I didn't think it had fanart. Well done!

I love the upper part of her mask. this is a cool idea for her veil.

Excellent. The expression and eyes capture the soul of Orual. That is my favorite book, and I approve of your image.

This is a great piece, but what happened with the robe's texture? It is a kind of pixelated

I'm not terribly familiar with either option; I just think it is beautiful. ;P
