Lore of High Magic Lore Attribute (Contemplations); If a spell from the Lore of High Magic is successfully cast by a Wizard from the Lizardmen Army (so basically a Slann Mage Priest) the caster can choose to forgot the spell at the end of his/hers/its magic phase. Lore of Death Lore Attribute (Life Leeching); After a spell for the Lore of Death is resolved roll a D6 for each unsaved wound caused by the spell. For every roll of a 5+, add an additional die to the caster's power pool. Note that this cannot exceed the maximized limit for power dice in a single phase. This may be one of the most broken abilities in all of Warhammer Fantasy. Lore of Shadow Lore Attribute (Smoke and Mirrors); After a spell has been cast successfully from the Lore of Shadow and has been resolved, the caster may swap places with a friendly character within 18” of the caster. This attribute is just like the lore it's a part of, seemingly harmless but devastating in reality. Lore of Life Lore Attribute (Lifebloom); Whenever a spell from the Lore of Life is cast, you may remove a single wound from the caster or any other friendly model within 12”. This is a really useful attribute to have for a couple of reasons. First, one of the best armies to run this is Bretonnia, who have a nasty habit of wounding their characters in challenges. Once you Regrowth (coming up) some knights, take a wound off your HKB Lord. Second, this is also really great at removing any accidental wounds incurred if you roll double 6's when casting magic. Lore of Light Lore Attribute (Exorcism); When Lore of Light inflicts a number of hits on a target that has either the Undead or Daemonic special rules receives an extra D6 hits. This is what makes the infamous Light Counsel that the Empire can pull off terrifying for Vampire and Daemons. Daemons and Vampire Counts are terrified of this rule. Unlike Roiling Skies, this bonus is much better because it uses the strength of the spell, not a set Strength at 4. Lore of Heavens Lore Attribute (Roiling Skies); When a spell from the Lore of Heavens targets a model/unit that had the Fly special rule the target suffers D6 S4 hits in addition to whatever effects the spell has on the unit. Honestly, this like the Lore of Lights' attribute's (Exorcism) little defective brother. Again, this is nice when dealing with dragons and such. The Lore of Metal Lore Attribute (Metalshifting); Magic Missiles and Direct Damage spells in the Lore of Metal do not have Strength values. Instead, they wound on whatever the armor save of the target is (light armor wounds on 6+, heavy armor on a 5+, etc.). Models with no armor save cannot be wounded by these spells, no armor saves are ever allowed to be taken from damage done by these spells, and all attacks made by these spells count as Flaming Attacks. Lore of Beasts Lore Attribute (Wildheart); Any spell from the Lore of Beasts that targets a unit of the following profiles; war beasts, cavalry, monstrous beasts, monstrous cavalry, chariots, monsters, swarms, or anything from the Beastmen army book has a casting value reduced by 1. This is a pretty good attribute for a three particular armies. Beastmen, Bretonnians, and Ogres. The best spell in this lore is comparatively high to cast, so when casting it on the units that comprise the majority of this army, it makes it a lot easier to draw out your opponent's dispel dice. Lore of Fire Lore Attribute (Kindleflame); All attacks made by spells in the Lore of Fire are Flaming. No shit. In addition Magic Missile and Direct Damage spells are cast with an extra +D3 if the unit targeted by one of these spells has already had another Magic Missile or Direct Damage spell from the Lore of Fire cast on it. Basically, this attribute is almost useless for a number of reasons. First off, in order to make this attribute anywhere near synergistic it requires multiple casters using the Lore of Fire.
