Nomingia gobiensis by Sputatrix Nomingia gobiensis by Sputatrix
Somewhat speculative and yet an educated guess. Nomingia was a smallish oviraptorosaur with (probable) affiliations with Caenagnathids (like Chirostenotes sp.) and is here restored as one. It was also the first discovered dinosaur known to have a pygostyle (distal caudal vertebra fused as with birds).
