Chicago L: Randolph Stop

The neon lights from a nearby building illuminate the Randolph CTA stop in Chicago's Loop. It was a very foggy night so maybe that has something to do with how purple the station got. But you can also see how the street lights in the distance got very illuminated. I like how the old Marshall Field's sign is still up in the lower left of the composition. This photo reminds me a lot of the "Chicago L: Madison Stop" that I shot in January 2007.

I love how the neon and street lights reflect off the damp pavement! I'm beginning to see/appreciate how photography can take on new dimensions after the rain passes:)

This is very nice work, it caused my heart to beat with fear quite honestly. But it has so much emotion in it to me.

I thought it was a painting to, but very good picture, I'm surprised the way it turned out. I like how the neon like reflects onto the stair case from the building. Very good job.

Chicago is such a beautiful city... *stares out window* dinky idaho falls is NOT.

That's it. as soon as i can, im moving to chicago!

Awesome shot. I love urban photography. It has to be my favorite! and that light is just... surreal! you know, now that I think about it I've been to that train stop. Last time I went to Chicago I was only actually in chicago for like 3 hours. Spent most of the time in Evanston wating for my slow-butt brother to get his butt off the Northwest music camp campus. *sigh* but that was fun too I suppose. What's with all the little rabbits running around the city though O_o seriously. bunnies? here we just have squirrels. Oh and those cicadas too... HOW LOUD! they sound like a mix of dogs being stepped on, blenders blending ice, and heavy metal music.
I talk to much. Don't worry. I'll at least give you a favorite! You deserve it. All of your pictures are awesome.

I thought this was a painting too. Any clue if Adams/Wabash gets similar illumination?

Hmmm, I don't think i've photographed Adams/Wabash yet. I plan on doing all the stations in the loop. So eventually I will get to Adams/Wabash.
Very impressive! I am very new to photography. I hope that you all may help me in capturing great images as so. I have just purchased the Sony A300. This will be the first camera I try out for now. I will upgrade later. HDR is a multiple shot of 1 picture and then revised in Photoshop right?

wow, forgive me for my sugar tooth,

the candy-like colors almost made me think this was an artificially made 3d like environment in NFS or other games of the sort. But this is real photo, yes? niice

Amazing, how the best things can be caught on what most people would expect to be a photographers nightmare of a day. Well done!
