In constant search for self-knowledge, living in confusion, ostracised, misunderstood, not believed, crazy, weirdo, unstable, people-pleaser, rebel, non-conformist, antisocial, difficult, disruptive, alien, misfit, shunned, teased, assaulted, exploited, shy, passive, naive, trusting, silent, slow, control freak, obsessed, mistreated, misdiagnosed, overlooked, non-existent. That is a life story of many girls and women with high functioning autism/ Asperger living in the extroverted neurotypical world.
Very few people see them what they really are: average/high intelligence with a good memory, self-motivated, lifelong and independent leaner, detail-orientated problem solver with a strong focus and very strong work ethics. An honest, fair, just, genuine, keen observer, free from the bias and discrimination with deep reflective and introspective thinking based on complex and original concepts and logic.
Aspie woman is her own person and when she starts with her "special interest" she can get lost in it, creating a whole new universe. Everything else seizes to exist, even the sense of her own body, the only thing which matters is the object of interest.
