You thought I was dead, didn't you?
It's been a year and almost ten months since I've posted a new journal. Why? Because I've been crazy busy.
Every once in a while, I'll log on to manage my messages and browse through the art of the artists I watch. You guys have no idea how much it touches me that you still think my art is good. I've been drawing a little bit, but since I'm studying to eventually get my PhD in cellular molecular biology, it's been hard keeping up with the artist within me. I just wanted to let you guys know how much I love you for looking up to me and saying such nice things about my paintings/drawings. Once school calms down a little bit, I want to post something again because I've been having the urge to draw and create something amazing.
ALSO, on top of drowning in biology and chemistry textbooks and lab work, I've been taking care of my sweet little sugar gliders. I can't remember if I've mentioned them or not, but their names are King Arthur and Lady Ophelia and I love them with every fiber of my being. I'm going to post a picture of them so you guys can see just how freaking cute they are. Make sure to read the description because I will post some information about sugar gliders and the dangers of owning an exotic animal as a pet. These creatures are very delicate and can't be taken care of by anyone. I've been researching sugar gliders since I got them last April and I spend everyday with them; it's a huge commitment and isn't cheap. I advise you guys to thank these little fuzzy critters because without them, I wouldn't be here today. Arthur and Ophelia saved my life and I owe them the world.
Anyway, please post some comments because I miss you guys and I feel terrible for disappearing for so long. I've been working really hard to achieve my life-long goal of becoming a doctor, but it has taken quite a toll on my physical and mental well-being. Don't think I'm ignoring you guys, I'm just trying to get my shit together so that I can live a happy life.
Always and Forever,
