Hi everyone and Happy New Year! We were talking over at Gatchamania.net, and many of us were wishing for monthly Gatchaman (or one of the versions) art. I explained that we had tried to put together a calendar years ago, but never actually printed the calendar.Instead of a calendar, I'd like to challenge all of you wonderful artists to produce one Gatchaman - themed piece per month this year. What we'd like to see is a seasonal fanart for each month (for example: January- snow, February- Valentine's Day, March- St. Pat's, April- Easter, and so on...). It isn't limited to those topics, but it would be nice to be able to connect your picture...

Some of you know that I have caught people taking some of my fanart and making it into a T-shirt so that they could sell it before. I don't mind people using my work, I just don't appreciate them trying to make a profit out of my artwork without my permission! I found out that two people on Redbubble.com were at it again. I contacted Redbubble and gave them the information they needed (showed them my DA links) and the T-shirts (stickers, cell phone covers, etc.) were promptly removed. However, I still see fanart on their Gatchaman page that I recognize. I imagine that these artists were not asked for permission to sell their work, either. ...
