Results: Prep Results
The current RNG time is April 16th at 10:30 Eastern Daylight Time. A minimum of one RNG witness is needed. If there are no RNG witnesses available at that time, the RNG will be postponed. Everything else is already judged.
These races have been extended to April 14th with April 15th as a tentative date for RNG rolls.
I plan to eventually host a heat race competition for HARPG, but while I still hammer out the details and make some decisions about it, I decided to host a prep race. It also gives me a chance to practice judging and hosting a competition. Participation in this will not be a prerequisite to participation in the heat race, but will provide a small bonus (probably on the order of 1-2 judging points). Also worth mentioning that I have decided to actually have the heat race split into two so that all ages of horses can participate: a 4 mile heat race for 4+ horses and a 1 mile heat race for 2-3 year olds. So without further ado, the two prep races.

And for all you horse racing history people, the Clifford Stakes is named after Hall of Fame horse Clifford, winner of 42 of 62 starts, and conqueror of Domino, Henry of Navarre, Ben Brush, and others. The Duke of Magenta Stakes is named after Hall of Fame horse Duke of Magenta, who at three won 11 of 12 starts (The last one was a third) and winner of a bunch of stakes.
