As i stated earlier, i'm a big fan of Dixon's collection of hypothetical evolution books, and recently i obtained my copy of The New Dinosaurs. For those who mever heard of it, the idea is basically let the dinosaurs continue to evolve by simply removing whatever killed them off and the result is an entirely new reality on Earth.
At first one would think the dinosaurs look weird, dumb and/or impossible, but if you think of it, 65 million years of evolution would really make a mess on the looks of the dinos; what you get from that is a collection of odd dinosaurs that when observed closely aren't all that outlandish (sometimes).
