Shantae's Hair Whip

Hey a non-Mega Man fanart.

Shantae is the heroine of a Game Boy Color platformer of the same name (As well as its sequel on DSiWare), a spunky half-genie with literally killer hair.

Also featured is a Tinkerbat, the Goomba-class minion of the main antagonist of the series, Lady Pirate Risky Boots.

It's all very silly. But awesome.

I actually re-drew the Tinkerbat a few times and I'm still not quite satisfied with its pose, but I'm not satisfied with Shantae's either, so whatevs!

It's kind of hard to tell, but the Tinkerbat was JUST whipped in the face by Shantae's hair, but I kinda fail to communicate this with its pose, and this was the one I settled one!

Once again the shading is kind of all over the place, one of these days I need to sit down and learn how to do it properly. Or at least not badly.
